KU CRNA Program, formally known as Kansas University, is the largest university in Kansas with over 30,000 students enrolled throughout the State.  The Kansas University CRNA Program is rated among the top academic medical centers nationwide by the University HealthSystem Consortium.  In addition, the University of Kansas Hospital is one of the top ranked by US News.  Newman CRNA, boasts that 60% of those CRNAs locally in Kansas were trained by Newman University with 85% of those hired in the past 5 years trained by them.  That is a very impressive statistic.  Also, Newman University graduates practice in 20 States across the US, which is great because it means that graduates have the opportunity to work outside Kansas in the future.  With that in mind, the School is currently in the process of accreditation for its DNP program but still offering the MSNA degree in the meantime.

Connecticut, known as the Constitution State, is ranked #10 in total number of CRNA Schools in the United States.  It shares the #10 CRNA School ranking with Minnesota and Missouri.  Located in southern New England, many top universities are located all throughout CT in cities such as New Haven, Bridgeport, and Hartford.  The State is one of the wealthier in the US and has beautiful natural scenery including the Long Island Sound shoreline and Connecticut River Valley.  Students studying in CRNA schools in Connecticut say they spend more time in the State enjoying the local cities and scenery than taking the train and bus down to NYC.

For the Yale CRNA, the school partners with the Central Connecticut State University in New Britain CT and the clinical experience takes place at the Yale New Haven Hospital.

Massachusetts, known as the Bay State, is ranked #16 in total number of CRNA Schools in the United States.  It shares the #16 CRNA School ranking with Alabama, Arkansas, Maryland, Arizona, New Jersey as well as with several other States.  Although MA is one of the smallest states by size, it has some of the most prestigious universities in the country including Harvard and MIT.  In fact, many CRNA students had originally planned to study in NYC but ultimately decided on CRNA Schools in Massachusetts for the cultural history and diversity in a slightly smaller & moderately paced city.  They also rave on incredible summers, world-famous seafood, and top-notch hospitals for CRNA employment opportunities after graduation.

To sum up, there are not many CRNA schools in Utah because there is only one program.  Most students interested in attending CRNA school in the West Coast end up applying to CRNA Schools in California, where there are 5 programs.

Oregon, known as the Beaver State, is ranked #30 in total number of CRNA Schools in the United States.  It shares the #30 CRNA School ranking with Washington, Iowa, Maine, Missouri, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, and a few other States.  With a smooth mountain range and lush forests, Oregon is well known for its diverse, eye catching landscapes. The capital of Portland is also known as one of the most environmentally friendly cities in the country.  CRNA students rave how Portland has the highest rate of biking to work in the US and also one of the most comprehensive transportation systems.  This transportation system includes commuter rail, light rail, buses and streetcar lines and makes it easy to get around.
